Studying in TISE

TISE continues to attract new participants of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Program from all around the globe – our students and alumni come from almost 60 different countries!
This diversity in the educational backgrounds is enriching the learning experience of the students from day one – as well as studying in at least three different countries in Europe.
We value diversity and inclusion for our sustainable future.
What studying in TISE looks like?
Our 2nd cohort has just completed their first semester of the TISE Program at Universidade NOVA de Lisboa !We asked them to share their experiences as international students and to give some advice for future applicants.
“Studying here at NOVA has been the most eye opening intellectual stimulation
Yudai, our first Intake TISE Student offered to give an inisght into his experiences studying in the framework of an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Program:
” A source of inspiration” is how I would describe this TISE programme. Learning with 27 people from 23 countries gives me fresh insights and perspectives. I decided to apply for TISE as I had been keen to aboard European ways of social innovation and entrepreneurship after working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. The lectures and the mobility scheme have successfully laid a foundation for my understanding of the innovation process and sustainable development in multiple fields. As ‘interdisciplinarity’ is the core concept of TISE, this programme highly encourages the development of many different areas of expertise and welcomes applicants from a diverse range of backgrounds. After graduation, I would love the opportunity to work at a government entity to foster open innovation in the public sector.
